Black and white 3 1/2"h x 3 1/2"w photo of Woodlawn near Ridge. This photo shows one end of the house and its two story addition. The addition is not centered on the gable end of the house. The main house has an outside end chimney on the left that is between the house and the addition. There is a flat roofed porch on the left with massive pillars that covers the first and second floors. The center bay on the second floor has a railing and is screened--possibly a sleeping porch. The nearest bay is open top to bottom. The two story addition has a nearly flat roof. On the left side, there are two six over six windows on each floor. On the side facing the camera, there is a door on the second floor on the right that gives access to the roof of yet another porch. This porch is raised above the ground, with a railing around all but part of the side closest to the camera. On the first floor, two doors, or possibly a door and a window, open onto this porch. There is lots of junk on this porch. On the right side of the main house is another flat roofed porch, possibly a porte-crochere. It also has massive pillars. There is a railing around the roof on this porch, so maybe there is access from the second floor to that roof.
Text on scrapbook page: "Both chimneys blown off by Hurricane Hazel Oct. 15, 1954. One has been replaced."
