Name/Title
World War I veterans in the square 2Entry/Object ID
2003.005.0001Description
8"h x 10"w black and white photo of the veterans of World War I. The widely reproduced picture was taken at the county's celebration for returning veterans. There were many rows of soldiers and sailors, most in uniform. The town had decorations, including jousting arches, all around. This copy is clearer than some others we have. Notice what may be fingerprints on the far edge of the photo in the vicinity of the small flag on a stick.
