1 folder ; 11 3/4" x 9 1/2" Two drafts and typescript of a speech Mr. Beitzell gave to the Saint Mary's County Historical Society on February 10, 1952. This was a considerable speech, being 17 small font typed pages. The delivery time was noted as 40 minutes. Mr. Beitzell took the occasion to pay tribute to Louise Dent, one of his grade school teachers. He also touched on the theme of toleration before devoting most of his talk to the history of the county during the Revolutionary War.
