1995.001.1722Description
This black and white photo shows four young boys posing with a yoked pair of black calves. The calves do not looked thrilled to be part of the tableau. Each boy is wearing a dark cap, a coat, vest, and tie with a white shirt. The calves are pulling a small flat cart. A priest in a bowler hat is sitting on the cart. Four men are standing behind the cart, one of whom is a priest. The man on the right is much the older of the group. There is a light-colored building with large two over two lights for the windows and a light colored tent on the right. This may have been taken at the first county fair held in 1913 and sponsored by the Xaverian Brothers who managed Leonard Hall School.
