Young child with catEntry/Object ID
1995.003.0017Description
5 3/4"h x 3 7/8"w sepia tone photo on a very dark board 6 5/16"h x 4 3/16"w. This allowed for a band on the bottom of the board that said "F. Haffner & Co. Chambersburg, Pa." The image was of a toddler clutching a large long haired cat around the neck. The cat was not enjoying the moment or maybe it was stuffed. The child had on a white? hat that covered all but its face; whatever it was made of was very thick. The light colored dress had pleats in back and a belt or band in front. The sleeves were quite ragged. The child was looking to its right with great suspicion.
