5 3/8"h x 4"w sepia photographic portrait of a young woman, possibly Carrie Spalding, Dr. Spalding's wife. She had light brown hair with curls on top and pulled tight on the sides. She had on a dark, deep vee neck dress with a transparent overdress flecked with circles. The overdress had a high gathered collar and high puffy sleeves. Sadly, there is a stain on the photo right over her left eye.
