This is a photograph of nine young women standing near a large pine tree. Judging by the clothing, it was spring or summer. I would judge the women to have been 15 or 16--middle teen years. Most of the women wore light colored clothing--there was only one dark dotted swiss outfit. Most had a slightly flared skirt and a short sleeved top with a small peplum. Everyone had some type of self belt. All but one top had a collar or scarf or bow as an accent. Most of the women wore their hair close to their heads, pulled away from their faces and waved. T-strap shoes were common, as were "fishermen sandals." At least three of the women wore small anklet socks. Whatever the occasion, they appeared to be having a good time.
