Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens is a historic house museum built between 1912 and 1915 for F. A. Seiberling, the co-founder of the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, and his family. The 64,500 sq. ft. mansion was designed in the Tudor Revival style by architect Charles Sumner Schneider. The nationally recognized gardens were crafted by Boston landscape architect Warren Manning, with contributions from English garden designer Ellen Biddle Shipman and Japanese garden designer T.R. Otsuka. These gardens include a variety of themed areas, such as the English Garden, the Japanese Garden, and the Rose Garden. Guests can enjoy a range of tours and events throughout the year. The estate also features a gift shop and a café for visitors to enjoy. Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens offers a rich historical and cultural experience for all who visit.
