Description

Colored print titled: United States Packet Ship " Pleiades", 1172 Tons Register, Built at Bath,Maine 1855 by John C. Lowell. The bottom left of the prints says: Copyright 1962 The Seamen's Bank for Savings. The bottom right of the print says: From the painting by D. McFarlane. The print show the Pleiades facing right in rough seas. The right side of the print has a couple ships in the distance. On the left is a sail boat in the distance. The print measures 14½ inches by 10¼ inches. There is a two-inch off-white mat with a one-inch stained wood frame. The total measurement is 19 inches by 15 inches. There is a black label on the back with a the following in a gold frame: We Frame To Order, Photographs, Oil Paintings, Etchings, Prints, Diplomas and Maps, New York Frame and Picture Co.,141 Fulton St., N.Y. and in an additional frame: Advertising Showcards & Signs Framed.
