Collection of 16 Annual Reports from the Baltimore, Chesapeake, and Atlantic Railway Company beginning in 1911 and ending in 1927. When comparing those years at the beginning and end, one can see the drastic change in situation for steamers. This company operated many steamboat lines, in 1911 totaling 1,134 miles in 1911 which declines to only 750 miles in 1927 when they were forced to file foreclosure proceedings according to that report.
Operated steamers on the Choptank River, Piankatank River, and more over the course of time. Map shows their steamer and rail lines in 1912.
