Description

U.S Coast & Geodetic Survey navigational chart #534, 1933 edition, revised 1939 regarding United States-East Coast Chesapeake Bay-Virginia of Rappahannock River Entrance and Great Wicomico River. Scale 1/40,000. Soundings in feet at mean-low water. The chart is analagous to the present-day NOAA Chart # 12235. It show Burbans Steamboat Wharf, North End Steamboat Wharf and Westland. Frame is brown and green and measures 37" x 46 1/2". It is unmatted and has glass. The chart is brown with age.
