Year Built: 1881 Built By: Harlan & Hollingsworth Built At: Wilmington, DE Built For: Maryland Steamboat Company Official Number: 100281 Length: 190.0 feet Beam: 30.5 feet Depth of Hold: 8.5 feet Gross Tons: 589 gross, 433 net Propulsion: Sidewheels of 22 feet diameter. Hull: Iron Engine: 40 inch diameter cylinder by 10 foot stroke rated at 400 hp. Purchased by: Included in the sale of the company to the Baltimore, Chesapeake, and Atlantic Railroad Company on 20 October 1894. Route: Baltimore to the Choptank River landings, Baltimore to Piankatank River landings in 1900. Used on the Rappahannock. Comments: Rammed by steamer GEORGEANNA between Oxford and Easton on 20 September 1881 with slight damage. Collided with scow near Seven Foot Knoll on 7 September 1889 with slight damage. Burned while undergoing repairs at James Clark & Company on 18 February 1894. Disposition: Sold out of Chesapeake Bay service to N.Y & Saugerties Line in July 1904 and abandoned in April 1937.
