Description

Irvington Beach Hotel located on Carter's Creek in Irvington, VA. The original hotel was established in 1892 in a single family home that was built before the Civil War. By 1919 the business was so successful that the original building became an annex and a larger hotel was built. The second hotel was destroyed by fire in 1930. The original building was restored as the hotel and was operated until 1950.
