Description

"Springfield, Heathsville, VA was built by merchant William Harding in 1828. The property was once the home of John Heath, a veteran of the Revolutionary War and Virginia politician. He was Heathsville's namesake, attended William & Mary College and was a cofounder of Phi Beta Kappa. John Heath sold the property in 1803 when he moved to Richmond.
