Historically accurate story about Richard Thomas Zarvona , a Maryland resident who formulated a plan to seize a Federal gunboat and a passenger steamer that supplied the gunboat for the Confederacy. In attempting to escape after the plan failed, he boarded a steamboat disguised as a woman.
