Octagonal plate with an inset foot ring, painted in underglaze blue with an elaborate floral scroll border with lapettes and a pebbled ground on the rim; a latticework band on the sides of the well; and a dense landscape scene with a willow tree, flowers, a scholar’s rock, and a latticework fence in the center of the well.
