This color photograph is of a framed painting. The frame is antiqued gold and the painting is a view down a grassy (the grass is golden) wooded slope to a bay the farther curve of which is a sandspit dividing an inner lagoon from the ocean. The far end of the bay is contained by a point of land which rises to a ridge leading up the the hills. The bay on the left is Bolinas Bay and the lagoon on the right is Bolinas Lagoon. The area at the lower end of the slope, bordering the ocean is where the town of Stinson Beach is now located. The sky is cloudy/foggy. See notes.Collection
