Ed's Superette is a white building with red roof and trim at corner of Hwy 1 and Arenal. The market has a bench outside against the wall. Ben Chollar is sitting on it talking to an unknown girl standing in front of him. Elliott Kolker is standing off to the right. A red pick up is parked near where he is standing. A blue pickup driven by Tony Lewis is passing the market, exiting the painting on the left. The market has two red-framed windows upstairs and a smaller window between them where Dennis Murphy is leaning out. Just in front of him is suspended a red/white/blue CocaCola/Liquor sign. There is also a sign advertising food on a pole at the top of the driveway that ramps up along the side of the market. A blooming bush grows along this side the market where it begins to meet the road. The side of the driveway is set with cobblestone above the ditch between in and the roadway. In the background on the right other residences can be seen - a white house and several ill-defined brown structures beyond - and the mountain, which is green at the top, brown in the middle, and lighter green lower down.Collection
