This black and white photo is a copy of a postcard. There are houses in the right foreground with a road on the left leading away toward a bay in the upper left of the picture. The bay is bounded on the right by a sand spit and water is visible on the other side of the spit. The water on the left of the spit is ocean and that on the right is a lagoon. There are trees before and beyond the houses and down the middle of the sand spit.
Image 2 is the reverse side of the postcard from which image 1 was taken. In the upper left hand corner it says: PACIFIC COASTLANDS The village of Stinson Beach lies beneath the steep slopes of Bolinas Ridge and Mount Tamalpais. In the distance, a sandspit separates Bolinas Lagoon from the Pacific Ocean. Stinson's long sandy beach contrasts wirth rhe rugged cliffs of the Marin Headlands.Collection
