Description

Shows the 2 ocean front houses at the end of Calle del Embarcadero with their sea-walls. The house at far belongs to Bruce and Jean Alexis Smith Watchtell. The house in front belonged to Albertine and Don Reuter at the time. Watchtell's has wooden structure on the concrete base which was remodeled later to the concrete only. It also has rocks in front of the seawall. The sea-wall at Reuter's were built during the storm by Val Agnoli and the crew of carpenters and has the curved front to deflect the wave action. On this clear day when photo was taken, 4 people and a dog play on the sand.
