The note accompanied the photo, 2007-110-01. It reads: 4/26/06 Dear Jane, I took this photo of a VW Bug decorated by Bolinas artists. It was parked across street from home we built 1969. I'm still in it-#13 Calle Sierra. Blanche Cerles bought the house in 1956 for 17K. The house sold 2 yrs ago. Blanche, now 93, a native of S.F. decided to spend her last years in S.F., her Stanyan ST home. I'm OK. Can't drive nor walk on beach since yr 2000. But happy just being at Stinson.
