This black and white photograph is of a two story building (the Stinson Beach Library) with two large display windows stretching across almost the entire front. There is a door to the right of the two large windows and two smaller, shuttered windows on the second story. An iron work planter runs underneath the lower windows which have their shades drawn and which show numerous notices posted on the windows themselves. There is a sign reading 'STINSON BEACH LIBRARY' between the upper and lower windows. To the left of the library there is a telephone booth, a telephone pole and a white picket fence enclosing Meristem, a flower stand. The last part of the Meristem sign (ISTEM) is visible. To the right of the building is a one story building with two paned, awninged windows on either side of a door. This building is Oceanic Realty and the sign above the windows is partially visible. Houses are seen on the hill behind the library with the more distand hills above.
The following four photographs (2000-240 through 240C) are all of the same building in slightly different views.Collection
