A black and white photographic print of Stinson Beach with lots of beach goer where the surf is rushing in. Bolinas Lagoon and Bolinas can be seen distance. The Highway 1's guard rail at right hand side of photograph cuts the view. The photograph has April 70 printed on the bottom. At that time the beach was still the county beach. On the back of the print, "Donated by Margot Patterson Doss" is stamped and written photo:John Doss. Margot Patterson Doss who went by her maiden name of Margot Patterson was a well known San Francisco Chronicles columnist of "Bay Area at Your Feet". In her capacity, she introduced the nature, trails of the bay area to people. She and her medical doctor husband, John Doss, had a house in Bolinas and later retired there.Collection
