Description

A black and white photograph of Dorothy Eggers De Maria standing in front of the unoccupied Tea Room by the Lagoon in 1987. The Tea Room operated by McKennan's family who also operated the boat launch to Bolinas stood empty after the GGNRA took over the land and was torn down in 1990s. This photo shows the building at that site, with hand crocheted round white race hanging on its two windows with a short salon curtain hanging on the middle window. From the photo, 2001-357-01, this portion of the room must have been added later. The building was painted in light blue with whitish trim. The brush in foreground is over grown. Oaks or buckeye trees in the back.
