A small black and white photograph of Sassi family on their front porch. The house is located on 10 Calle Del Sierra. The house was originally built for the 1906 SF Earthquake Relief and brought to Stinson Beach at the end of the1930s by Erma Sassi Parson's grandfather who owned a bakery in Point Reyes. The house was given to Erma (Sassi) and Denis Parsons. In this photograph, given to us by Erma's brother, Gimi, 3 young ladies and a young man are standing on its front porch. The man is holding a hammer and looks to be working at the ridge end of the roof. The back side of the photo has the names of three ladies. Also see, Willow Whistle Newsletter, Volume 15, No. 1 about this house and related IJ articles on the 100th anniversary of the Earthquake, and under Sassi, Parson.Collection
