Description

A photograph of the Bungalow grocery store and gasoline station was printed in Xerox and transfered into a digital photo by the staff. The original photograph can be found on the wall of the Breakers Restaurant in the Stinson Beach. The restaurant's original name was the Bungalow. The original owner of the store, James Mayers, is standing on the deck in front of the door. Three others who might been employees are also standing looking at the camera. Total of 11 people, including 4 hikers with their bed-rolls, are making a line to purchase sandwiches and coffee which was sold from the window on the right side of the photo. The building front has 2 signs: The Bungalow and Food Groceries Vegetables. The building has Shell (gasoline) sign on top of the roof and 2 gasoline pumps are standing in front of the building.
