There are two black and white prints mounted on a cream colored, cardstock paper. In the upper photo, in the foreground, there is a portion of a building or retaining wall on the sand and behind it, on the right side of the photo, is a low building that appears to be resting directly on the piled up sand. The surf is breaking to the left of the structures. Opposite this photo is written, in cursive: Winter 55-56, in block printing: MOSGROVE HOUSE WENT TO SEA DAYS LATER ONLY THE CHIMNEY REMAINED
The lower photograph shows two single storey houses. The nearest one has a deck running the length of it with stairs down to the beach. The farther one,left of the former, sits high on supports and has no deck. The ocean, left side of the photo, has scoured sand from underneath both houses. See notes.Collection
