Scope and Content

Janet describes how she inherited the property as a wedding present and they began building their home in 1936 using a lot of beach wood and river stone, how it was and is a gathering spot for all the relatives. Patricia recalls days of clamming and camping, the big storms and ambergris. Both recall the sulfur baths, phosphorus in the water, and their parents conribution to the building of the Church and Community Center, and the summer camp for girls their mother held at their home.
