Description

This is a digital photo of Algar's calling card. Algar's was an historical establishment in town. The first official post office of Stinson Beach was housed there. Prior to that it was in the basement of Algar's father-in-law, Lyman Beacher DeCamp. They owned a store where there was the post office, garage, rental cottages and restaurant. His wife, Frances Alice, was the second postmistress following her sister.
