Scope and Content

Adelaide remembers first coming to Stinson with friends during her college years at UCB in the 1930's, and later with her husband. They bought a Seadrift lot in 1951 and began building their home themselves (the 6th house to be built in Seadrift), which remained in the family for 27 years. She raised 3 children who attended the Stinson School and Adelaide was President of the parent teachers club during the unification with Bolinas School. She talks of their weekly bake sales, the wonderful fishing in those years, and the big storm of 1958. She remembers those days fondly and how much it has changed,
