Scope and Content

Fred remembers Stinson Beach from 1955 to 1999 when he first arrived in town while serving in the AirForce on Mt. Tam and lived at Seadowns. He later moved to Stinson Ranch, owned by Water District, where there were cattle until the Park Service purchased the property in 1974 - and White Gate Ranch owned by George Leonard. He talks of his kids and the early '60s and remembers the old Sand Dollar, the Pelican's Nest and Seadowns cabins. He has thoughts about the changing times and people and tells of the work he did as carpenter. Includes a detailed obituary read by Sally Veauta.
