Scope and Content

Joan first arrived in Stinson in 1949 when she visited Bill Swiegert on Sacramento Patio. In the '60s she and her family spend summers in a house on Calle del Onda. After remarrying in 1970, she and her husband Willis bought a house in Seadrift (which barely survived the storms of '82/'83) but didn't live here full-time until he retired. She recalls old friends and neighbors (Ed McGillicuddy and Proctor Jones).
