The Stinson Beach Community Center consists of the Firehouse, hall and chapel. Across the creek from the buildings is an acre of land, previously known as Shady Rest, that was donated the the Community Center. Access to that site necessitates walking to the highway and around the fire house to a gravel road. A 55 foot bridge is proposed to provide easy access from the hall patio to 10 Willow as the area is now known.
Numerous county, state and federal agencies must approve and will cost approximately $150,000.
Architect Michael Mitchel is working pro bono and the project is lead by Toby Bisson, President of SBCC.
On September 13, 2025, SBCC had a fundraiser and auction and helped raise almost a third of the needed money.
