On February 11, 1995, 4 young local men died in a car accident on Panoramic. They were Eli Kempf, Matt Perry, and brothers Ian & Jim Duncan. There was a memorial for them and Elliot Kolker made the mandala. Subsequently, Eli's mother, Diana Morrell, made annual calendars and photo albums of their lives. Upon Diana's death, the artifacts were donated to SBHS
