Description

In this black and white photograph we see a house built out over a hillside. The lower portion is enclosed with wood siding with a few small windows and a door. The upper portion of the building, the living quarters, has a porch running the length of the house with a solid railing, made up of the actual siding of the house, and covered by the extended overhang of the roof. The porch extends around the end of the house where the railing is open and a window and a door can be seen. There is a wood fence running along the uphill length of the house and an open wire fence running downhill from that. At the lower left of the picture there is a wooden framework that could be some sort of arbor or the start of an outbuilding. A man stands by the wire fence in front of the building. There is a tree behind the house and grassy hillside in the foreground.
