This black and white photo is of a small cottage on a raised platform. It is U-shaped with a porch running around it. It has a peaked roof with a chimney pipe. A door stands open with a small window beside it. The space beneath the house is enclosed with lath. A tent is on the ground beside the house and a fence is in front of it. There is an unidentified man standing at the top of the steps.
This is a photograph of the first house on property located at 1 Belvedere. The house was called the "Doll House." Later it was replaced with a larger house named "Laffalot". (see 1993-166-01).Collection
