This black and white photograph is of a car and driver on a coastal road. It is an open car, a roadster, and is positioned across the dirt road. The driver (Frank Airey) is looking back over his left shoulder. Behind him on the landward side of the road is a large overhanging rock. In front of him the road edge is marked by wooden posts as it drops off sharply. The ocean and a point of land is visible beyond. The road is Highway One, south of Stinson Beach, and the water is Bolinas Bay with Bolinas Ridge jutting out in the distance.Collection
