A black and white photograph of Stinson Beach Store and US Post Office, Stinson Beach, probably taken 1940s. The two buildings share a common wall. The store, on the left, is two storey with two windows in the upper level with the sign 'Stinson Beach Store' beneath them. The street level has two larger display windows and a door beside them. The Post Office on the right is single storey and has two multi-paned windows on either side of the door over which is the sign 'U.S POST OFFICE' The Stinson Beach Store (later to become the Stinson Beach Library) displays the signs 'Hamburger 20c, Coffee 5c, Milk Shake 10c,' and others on its window and door. In front of the store is a bench with a sign, "Moving! A job we understand. GOSS. For Estimate Call Larkspur 718". The Hillside Cottages are seen in the background. See notes.Collection
