Scope and Content

The Oral History Tea, honoring donors to SBHS oral history was held at the community center on Jan 26, 2002 moderated by Saley Veauta who conducted the most of the oral history interviews. 19 older oral history givers were present and three students representing the youth of the town served the tea and refreshments helping SBHS members who hosted the occasion. A slide show of the old times accompanied to provoke memories. These tapes were made to accompany the slide show and includes excerpt from the oral histories previously recorded. This tape includes conversation of Nancy Sullivan, Barbara Chevalier, Hal Airey, Barbara Ward and Syd Boyle (Jim Fisher), the second tape, 2011A-109-01-02 contains excerpt of interviews from Martha Simmons, Helen Letham-Linda Beals-Nancy Music sisters, Mary Jones, Mildred Sadler, Gertrude Helfrich, Barbara Scott and Frenchy Gales.
