A color photographic print of the Stinson Beach Chevron Gas Station being demolished. KN Corp. who did not have the proper permit started the demolition of the whole building when the corner of roof was inadvertently torn by the bulldozer which was working on the replacement of pumps. Ensuing controversy ended town with no gasoline station. The site was reconvened to Proctor Jones' Snug Nugget Partnership which eventually bought by well to do citizens of Stinson Beach and donated to the town as Village Green II (Completed on Nov.2003) site.
