Scope and Content

This is a composite of an invitation postcard and newspaper articles about it and the historical background of the location. In October 17, 1964, The Chandlery restaurant was opened inside of Grand Hotel which was known as Sea Beach Hotel for 48 years operated by Airey family. The new owner of the hotel and the restaurant, Robert Hargrove, invited people for a champagne reception.
