Scope and Content

1.During World War II, Military recuperation Center was set up in the present Park. Many families in the town invited the soldiers home for the Saturday night meals. 2. Sulphur bath. 3. 4th of July fire works, incident of one bomb dropped on the beach by our own Air Force men. Hal Airey buzzed beach for fun. 4. Grayhound Buses to town. 5. Somewhat disreputable house and people..."Cold Comfort" house, SF's Pinocchio's people who owned the house across. 6. Old road access now closed at the back of store to their home. 7. Impression of hippies in late 60s.
