In the A print, four adults and a little girl are ankle deep in the water at the beach. All are fully clothed. Three dogs happily romp near them. One woman has a hat on, as does the child; two of the others appear to be wearing bathing hats of the era, while one is bare headed and is crouching down. It is afternoon as their shadows fall in front of them and their faces are not clearly seen. In the B print, it is the same scene a minute later as the surf pulls back.Collection
