Scope and Content

This is a video of Bicycle Race from Smiley's to Stinson Beach done in 1984. Contestant were Denis Murphy representing Stinson Beach, and Buck Meyers representing Bolinas. Both riders wore Scabell's ( Auto repair shop in Bolinas) T-shirts. Charles Lenhoff was the announcer at Stinson end and Bill Stages recorded the race starting from in front of Smiley in Bolinas. Buck took early start but Denis Murphy aka Nicotine Kidd won the race and won the wager of the Breakfast at Parkside, a trophy and yellow BOFD t-shirt. Rockey, Peter Allen, Seth Kline, John Perry, Richard Lambert and Ed McGuillicuddy was among the cheering crowd.
