Mr. R.J. Airey was still president. To be succeeded by Mr. Walter B. Marble.
Oiling, paving roads, caring for ditches on the sides of the roads and care of street signs were the important ongoing issues.
In April the boundaries of Stinson were expanded further down the Lagoon to include more ranches, down to Runkle Ranch.
It was suggested that Buena Vista be one way on weekends and during the summer.
In May there were 51 members of the club.
An interesting comment: Raising money for road improvement, Otto Rassmussen suggested that as Mr. Fitzhenry could not help with road imp. Because of a lack of funds, he would take care of the Stinson Estate share if Mr. Fitzhenry would allow him some additional land on the west side of his property. There were other suggestions that would cover Fitzhenry's contribution at the cost of some of his property.
Social committee had a party at Mrs. Wakeham's Log Cabin. A good crowd attended.
Work was on for beach parking area. The need for this was because land was being divided into individual holdings. And beach property should be preserved for all.
Motion passed to communicate with PG&E asking them to communicate with the committee before setting any new poles in town.
The Club agreed not to pay a bill to Marvelous Marin Inc. because of " the reception given our committee when it asked for a hearing on the Road to the Beach Program.
It is interesting that the Club collects money for road improvements and lets the contracts.
It also sends flowers to funerals.Collection
