Scope and Content

1936 In 1936 the first meeting was held on March 5 and the only business was to agree to pay gas and oil for members to drive to Sacramento to meet with Highway Commission. In May there was a concern about the speed and noise of the school bus. The club showed moving pictures of the Golden Gate Bridge. In September there was discussion regarding the difficulties Stinson was having in finding a place for a dump. Discussion about garbage continued for the rest of the year, without resolution.
