1937 Stinson wanted to use the Bolinas dump for garbage but Bolinas was reluctant. Thanks were given to the fire department. And the Bolinas Coast Guard for help with Miss Meyer's burning home. They agreed to put a Stinson float into the Golden Gate Bridge fiesta parade in May. But next month it was canceled because Marvelous Marin Inc. said that the minimum dollar amount for a float was $500. Concerns about getting county to fix roads damaged from winter rains. Some desire was raised for a West Coast Chamber of Commerce. $10 was sent to Marvelous Marin Inc. for advertising for the county. There was a discussion about auto racing on the beach and it was said that autos racing one at a time in the areas where there were no people was okay.
