Scope and Content

This document was originally prepared for the defense of title dispute brought to Seadrift Owners' Association by a citizen's group and various governmental agencies including Marin County Planning Department and the California Coastal Commission against the building of the rock wall along the entire length of the Seadrift Beach property during and just after the storms of 1982-3 on an emergency basis, and the wishes of the homeowners to make the wall permanent. The photos and charts belonging to this document are missing. It contains the history of the sandspit from the 1820s to 1992.
