A four piece band plays but only one man and woman are dancing. The man is dressed for the event with a coat and tie and the woman wears an off the shoulder blouse and a decorated gathered skirt. Two young girls to the far left of the dancers are sitting, and two well dressed young boys stand nearby. Two other men stand and appear to be watching the band. To the right of the picture, against the wall, two partially visible women are "dressed up" with a casually dressed man sitting between them. An upright piano can be seen behind the band.
