1993-616-01Description
This black and white original photograph is slightly yellowed by age. It is a panoramic view of the town of Stinson beach and Bolinas Bay taken from the hills to the south of the town, looking north. Stinson Beach is in the center of the picture showing the houses on the hill and the patios and calles down on the beach. The bay is on the left with the sand spit curving around to the left ending at the Bolinas mesa. There are only a few houses on the sand spit. Bolinas lagoon is to the right of the sand spit with Bolinas ridge behind it. It is a clear day and one can barely make out Point Reyes against the horizon just to the left of where Bolinas ridge dips down below the horizon. The foreground is grassland.Collection
